Powershield will soon begin work on one of Belfast's most exciting new buildings.
‘The Soloist’, No 1 Lanyon Place, is situated adjacent to Belfast’s Waterfront Hall and forms part of the Lanyon Place Development. The design of the building, which is considered ground-breaking, has been earmarked for office space and art galleries.
It has been described as ‘Northern Ireland’s most prestigious office building at Belfast’s premier business address’.
Powershield has a contract of £¾ million and are supplying fire-rated curtain wall system and fire rated glazed doors (including glass) both 60 minutes integrity only and 60 minutes integrity and insulation. There are two facades, one on each building, and both involve a complex design because of a curved roof feature intersecting each screen.
