Powershield is currently providing steel doors to an exciting new project in London.
Central St Giles has been described as 'a development that brings heart and soul to a forgotten part of Central London's urban fabric'.
Designed by internationally-acclaimed Italian architect, Renzo Piano for Legal & General and Mitsubishi Estate Corporation, the striking new mixed-use building of 500,000ft2 comprises office, residential and retail space. Sustainability is a key part of the project, with 60% of rainwater to be collected and reused and 80% of heating generated from renewable sources.
Powershield is supplying 382 single steel doors and 72 double Fire and Duct doors, located from the basement through each of the 10 storeys. The sizeable order was placed by Management Contractor Bovis Lend Lease, in conjunction with Stanhope Plc.
