The RICS Awards 2009 includes two prestigious projects to which Powershield has been the main door supplier.
Liverpool One won the Regeneration Award, having served as 'the centrepiece' for Liverpool's regeneration strategy. Judges commented that attention to detail on the project was exceptional, and that it is a 'truly remarkable scheme with widespread positive impacts'. Powershield supplied and installed single and double fire doors to the development.
Victoria Square, Belfast won a Commended Entry. The retail-led scheme is described as 'linking key elements of the city and providing retail space to boost the local economy'. Powershield supplied and installed bespoke fire-rated glazed screens to the project, including fixed glazing, fully glazed hinged doors and fully glazed sliding doors.
