Powershield Doors has joined forces with another ASSA ABLOY Group company - Safeguard Doors - to create a new specialist business unit, ASSA ABLOY Security Doors.
This new division will supply Powershield steel doors and Safeguard high security timber doorsets from a single point of contact, meaning a broader choice of products and less complexity for customers. This is also good news for our export markets, as ASSA ABLOY Security Doors will now be able to offer a more comprehensive and advanced range of independently-certified security and blast doors.
Both companies' manufacturing operations will remain at their current locations in Lisburn, Northern Ireland (Powershield) and Willenhall (Safeguard). Powershield's Managing Director and head of the new organisation, Dr Graham Crymble, comments; "Our customers will continue to receive all the quality, service and performance they expect from Powershield, alongside broader product choice and from one source - ASSA ABLOY Security Doors".
