Powershield’s continuing growth has resulted in further expansion of office facilities at the Head Office in Lisburn.
Following the addition of new design staff and the requirement to expand this section of the business, a new modern office suite was completed on the existing mezzanine floor area.
The extension also includes additional conference room facilities, private offices and staff canteen.
Further enhancements of the existing design software are being implemented to allow for an increased range of standard details that can be quickly and seamlessly integrated with the automated production machinery.
The office expansion is the second extension to the premises since the new production and office facility was completed in 2002. In 2005 an additional 15,000sq ft of production space was added to accommodate the increased output needs and this was combined with further investment in machinery, including a fully-automated powder application system and an additional fully-automated turret punching station
